Welcome to Siladen Resort & Spa

Open since 2003 on Siladen, a small island inside Bunaken National Marine Park where commercial fishing has been banned for decades and tourism is now the village's main livelihood, the resort has 23 villas in five categories: Garden View (48 m²), Beach View (64 m²), Luxury (74 m²) directly on the beach with a private plunge pool, and two-bedroom variants of the Beach View and Garden View (120 m²). All accommodate 2 adults, the two-bedroom villas accommodate 4.

A large freeform saltwater pool with a sunken bar anchors the centre of the resort, around the restaurant, lounge bar and reception, with views of the volcanic island of Manado Tua. Full board across breakfast, lunch and dinner. The PADI 5-Star dive centre runs 40 premium dive sites inside Bunaken National Marine Park, with a maximum of four divers per guide and a 1:1 ratio for blackwater dives. The spa and a yoga shala sit a short walk from the beach.

Chef Yongki Bukunusa runs cooking classes on-site. Guided excursions to the Tangkoko Nature Reserve can be arranged on request: wildlife observation only of tarsier primates, black macaques and Sulawesi bear cuscus.

In Bunaken National Marine Park, a protected area of five islands off the northern tip of North Sulawesi. Siladen is the smallest inhabited island in the park, with about 300 residents. The resort runs along a white-sand beach facing the volcanic island of Manado Tua, with a fringing reef that drops from turquoise shallows to the deep blue of the Pacific. The regional hub Manado sits across the strait.
