Welcome to Munduk Cabins by Desa Hay
The cabins are individually designed and range from studios to larger suites, some with a private outdoor jacuzzi or a view over the pool and valley. A two-bedroom cabin sleeps up to four.
The on-site restaurant Ulekan Munduk serves a set menu of traditional Indonesian dishes made from fresh local ingredients. Clove Bar pours cocktails alongside. Both are open to non-resident guests. A pool overlooks the valley, with a hot tub and fire pit among the shared spaces linked by the boardwalk, and in-cabin dining runs throughout the day.
In Munduk village, Buleleng Regency, the cooler and less-visited north of Bali, known for its rainforests, waterfalls and clove plantations. The area's waterfalls sit a few kilometres away and can be visited on guided tours the property arranges, Lake Tamblingan is about 5 km.

Why it's a Positive Escape
Rainforest cabins in the clove-growing hills above Munduk, in the cooler, less-visited north of Bali.
Munduk Cabins sits on a forested ridge in the Buleleng hills of North Bali. Six cabins raised above the forest floor and linked by elevated boardwalks through the tree canopy, with views over the valley, the volcanoes inland and the ocean in the distance.
The property is run by Desa Hay, a family business founded by the Canadian Kowaleski family (Scott, Julia and Josh), who also operate a second property in Canggu.
